Acoustic properties of road markings
Drnovský, Ondřej ; Caudr, Michal (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with verifying the acoustic properties of road markings in real conditions the vehicle travels. It contains basic information about the acoustics of the sources of traffic noise and methods of measuring noise. Below are the main information about the horizontal signposts and its impact on safety. The practical part contains descriptions of results, estimation of measurement and subsequently implemented economic assessment.
Study of machines for asphalt road maintenance in the summer
Václavík, Lukáš ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is written as a exploration of facts and it is occupy with machines for summer maintenance of road. The thesis is divided into three parts – traffic signs; sprinkle vehicles, sweeper vehicles and sweepers; repairing vehicle and mobile cutter. The thesis contains sorting each machine, description of work and its technical parameters.
Night-time visibility of horizontal road marking
Fišer, David ; MBA, Martin Tóth, (referee) ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
This work is focused on important characteristic of horizontal road marking, which is night-time visibility, or retroreflection. Introductoty part deals with characteristics of horizontal road marking with emphasis on night-time visibility, contains summary of materials used for marking, material on drop, and also various kinds and technologies of application of horizontal marking. Next part is devoted to methods of measurement and their description including equipment for measurement. In the practical part there are listed data from measurement of retroreflection made on test area and on chosen areas of roads and also evaluation of measured data. End of this work includes obtained knowledges and review summary.
Analysis of selected properties of horizontal road marking
Šašinková, Daniela ; Jůza, Petr (referee) ; Tokař, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of selected properties of horizontal road marking (HRM). In terms of anti-skid properties measurements are made to determine the longitudinal friction coefficient, the coefficient of adhesion under different conditions and skid resistance of HRM. Measurements of anti-skid properties are supplemented by measurement of retroreflection of HRM. The theoretical part describes the current state of the issue, general characteristics of horizontal road marking and quantities measured in this thesis (friction and adhesion). The practical part consists of description of used measuring devices, custom solution and results analysis. The solution consists of the description of the measured samples, their preparation, subsequent measurement and a detailed description of the method of measured data evaluation. Data analysis is based on comparison of results obtained from individual sample groups and on comparison of measured values among themselves. The thesis is supplemented with photo documentation and video footage.
Adhesion of the materials for the horizontal marking
Šašinková, Daniela ; Dašek, Ondřej (referee) ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis deals with the adhesion of materials for horizontal road marking in the case of renewal of marking and two-phase marking. Within the work specified parameters were measured and evaluated. The theoretical part describes the initial situation and is followed by the general characteristic of the horizontal road marking. Further, there are also described individual tests performed on horizontal road marking carried out within the presented bachelor thesis. The practical part deals with the preparation, production and description of the samples that have been used for this work. The evaluation of the measurements carried out on all testing samples of the marking follows. All evaluations are based on test results and photo documentation.
Svitavy Town Square - Reconstruction Design
Voříšková, Zuzana ; Matuszková, Radka (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of bachelor's thesis is the design of hard surfaces in the square in Svitavy (region of Pardubice). The proposal is to increase and improve the usability of cultural and civic public space. This will be achieved by changing the architextural arrangment of the reorganization of transport, which involves the partial diversion and relocation od parking spaces.
Intersection of streets Malátova, Na Návsi and Stříbrnická in Ústí nad Labem
Jančík, Josef ; Apeltauer, Jiří (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is propose a modification of the existing cover intersection of Malatova, Na Návsi and Stříbrnická street in Ústí nad Labem at the roundabout with a diameter of 28 meters.
Crossroad I/14 x III/3037 x III/3038 x III/3039 - Červený Kostelec
Žůrek, Jakub ; Jakl, Tomáš (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of the master´s thesis is the elaboration of a technical study that focuses on the modification of a five-branched road intersection involving roads I/14, III/3037, III/3038 and III/3039. The intersection is situated within the urban area of Červený Kostelec, specifically in its main activity centre. The primary motivation for commissioning the technical study is the need to address a complex and expansive intersection in the city centre, propose a solution to close at least one incoming roadway, thereby reducing its footprint, and simultaneously create an enlarged space for a square. Within the technical study, three capacity-assessed variants for resolving the intersection were proposed. Additionally, for the adjacent intersection on Tyršovo Square, in connection with the closure of one branch on the primary intersection, two variants with different road markings configurations were suggested. The forementioned variants stand as the final output of the technical study.
Analysis of critical places in road transport
Doležel, Martin ; Ledvoňová, Monika (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the modification of the existing intersection of roads I/43 and III/37717 in the village of Lažany in the South Moravian Region. The main road at this intersection is a two-lane undivided road. The intersection in question is the site of frequent traffic accidents. The subject of the diploma thesis is the description of changes in road markings in selected type intersections. The subsequent selection of own connecting intersections, a traffic survey of this location and a draft of drawing documentation consisting in the adjustment of vertical traffic markings and horizontal traffic markings, which will serve to stabilize traffic and minimize the occurrence of traffic accidents
